BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 160°C · 320°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Rinse the black beans, drain well and then pat dry with kitchen paper. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and grease a brownie can or a silicone shape for small cupcakes (which we found at Xenos), for example with baking spray. Purify the black beans in a stand mixer. Then chop the chocolate and pecans coarsely.
STEP 2
Grab a large bowl and put the oatmeal, cocoa powder, maple syrup, olive oil, baking powder, vanilla extract, chocolate, pecans, ground chili, piment powder, salt and of course the pure black beans. Mix all ingredients well to a thick and liquid mass.
STEP 3
Pour the mixture into your baking form and cook the brownies in 35-40 minutes. Check occasionally with a satepijkker, for a long time the brownies don't seem cooked and from one moment to the next they are. So keep an eye on this, especially after 25 minutes every 5 minutes. Let the brownies cool and then remove them from the baking form.
STEP 4
I can tell you they taste fine the next day. We even had breakfast with it, because those black beans are absolutely 'healthy'?
