BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 175°C · 347°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 175 degrees.
STEP 2
Boil the pumpkin cubes for 10 minutes in a layer of water. Pour and puree.
STEP 3
Add pumpkin puree, olive oil, brown bastard sugar, vanilla extract together in a bowl and knock briefly with a hand mixer or garde. Add the eggs one by one and knock with them until a foamy substance develops.
STEP 4
Sieve in another bowl the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add a pinch of salt and mix together.
STEP 5
Chop the chocolate into tiny pieces (by the way, you can also use the chocolate chips for this.
STEP 6
Add the dry ingredients and chocolate pieces to the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix with a spatula.
STEP 7
Grease a brownie baking tin (approximately 20×27 cm) and pour the mixture into it. Put in the oven for 15 minutes. Until you can put in a satep trigger that just doesn't come out dry, because you want a sticky brownie!
STEP 8
Meanwhile, make the sticky pecans by melting butter in the pan. Then add the honey, sugar and ginger powder and let simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring. There's a viscous substance that you're going to get through right now.
STEP 9
Remove the pumpkin brownie from the oven and divide the sticky pecans over it. Let cool, cut into cubes and the brownies are ready to be eaten!
