BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 180°C · 356°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Place the milk in a bowl and stir the yeast bag together with 2sugar. Stir this and let it stand until the light starts to bubbling.
STEP 2
Mix in a bowl the flour, remaining sugar and salt. You can choose to mix the dough in the stand mixer or hand. Knead the milk mixture and egg through and then bit by bit the butter. By hand I was a minute or 8 kneading and dough transformed from a sticky to supple and elastic dough. The last part of kneading I did on a sunflower oil greased countertop.
STEP 3
Then make it a ball and put it back in your bowl, apply it very lightly with sunflower oil. Cover the bowl with a cloth and leave 30-45 minutes until the dough has doubled in volume.
STEP 4
Then pour the dough back on your counter, punch out the air and knead for a while. Divide the dough evenly 7 round spheres. Cover a baking tin with baking paper and lay 1 ball in the middle. The other 6 Balls are around you. With a sharp blade, you can cut the bulbs with a floral pattern, is just what you like. I did it because I had time left;). Cover the brioche bread with a towel and leave 30-45 minutes.
STEP 5
In the meantime, preheat the oven 180 degrees. Scroll after the 2Rise the baking tin in the oven and let your brioche bread in 25-35 Cook for minutes and beautiful golden brown. Keep a close eye on your bread, because in the end it can go fast.
