METHOD
STEP 1
1. Go to the site of Rutger Bakt and follow his exact recipe for the sues. That's the best we can do for you.
STEP 2
Couple of tips from us: We really needed that fourth egg, but our eggs weren't that big. In the beginning it seems as if it never works out in the oven, but it really does! They're going to rise beautifully and become hollow inside themselves. And don't open the oven door in between, because then you can start over.
STEP 3
2. Beat the whipped cream together with the rasp and vanilla sugar. The whipped cream has to be strong so it doesn't run out of sustenance, but don't make butter out of it. Fill with this filling a spray bag and store in the cooling if necessary.
STEP 4
3. Mix the orange juice and icing sugar in another bowl to make the glaze. Always add a dash of orange juice until it has the desired thickness. You want it to be liquid, but you don't want it to end immediately.
STEP 5
Tip: If you want to add orange glaze then add a drop of orange nutrient or a dash of boiled carrot juice.
STEP 6
4. Make a hole in the side or bottom of each sus, where a small nozzle of the spray bag fits. Fill with this.
STEP 7
5. Divide the enamel over every sus. A large teaspoon each is enough.
STEP 8
6. Last but not least, sprinkle the red-white-blue speckles on the sussies if the glaze is not completely dried, otherwise the speckles are mainly on the floor.
STEP 9
7. Time to hand out the sustenance on King's Day!
STEP 10
Enjoy these wonderful sustenances!
