BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 180°C · 356°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cover your baking tin with baking paper.
STEP 2
Chop the milk chocolate coarsely. Melt the butter together with the chopped chocolate in a pan until it is a nice chocolate sauce and let cool in a bowl.
STEP 3
Beat the eggs with the (hand) mixer in about 5 minutes well foamy with the bastard sugar and 1 fluorescent vanilla extract. The quantity will double in volume.
STEP 4
Strain the flour with the baking powder and salt in a bowl. Then quietly spat it through the egg mixture together with the melted chocolate butter. The batter just needs to be mixed. Don't stir too long or hard.
STEP 5
Create half the brownie batter in the baking tin and distribute evenly. Place the 12 normal Oreos in the batter and distribute the rest of the batter so that the cookies are covered.
STEP 6
Bake the Oreo brownie 25 - 30 minutes in the oven until the brownie is just cooked. Then let cool completely on a grid. Store in a refrigerator until use.
STEP 7
Tip: I always like brownies that have been in the fridge a lot better, they get even more juicy.
STEP 8
Stir the cream cheese and beat it for a few minutes creamy with the icing sugar and 1 fluorescent vanilla extract. Then divide evenly over the Oreo brownie.
STEP 9
Garnish with broken mini Oreos and then cut into small square pieces. Because they are so powerful you can cut 16 pieces of them, but 12 larger can of course also.
