BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 175°C · 347°F
Prepare Muffin tin
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat the oven 175 degrees Celsius and cover a muffin shape with the muffin paper. Grease this light with for example baking spray.
STEP 2
Heat the milk with the lemon juice in a saucepan to boiling point and turn off the heat. Put the Earl Grey tea bags in it. Let this pull and cool completely.
STEP 3
Tip: The Earl Grey tea gives the cupcakes the characteristic bitter, bergamot taste of the black tea. If you want to soften them, leave the tea out and only heat the milk with the lemon juice.
STEP 4
Rasp the peel of 1 orange (you have 2 need) and press him out (you have 60 ml).
STEP 5
Peel 2 oranges for garnish thick and then cut into slices.
STEP 6
Beat the oil with the bark sugar and honey and stir the vanilla extract through.
STEP 7
Knock the eggs through one by one.

Add the orange juice and the rasp and mix.

Stir the flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl.

Add in turns 3 turn the flour mixture and milk mixture to the eggs.

Stir until the net is mixed and spread evenly over the muffins.
STEP 12
Put a slice of orange on each muffin and sprinkle with some crystal sugar.
STEP 13
Bake the muffins 20 - 25 For minutes golden brown and cooked and let them cool on a grid.
BAKING DETAILS
During the blood orange season it is a great idea to bake these blood orange cakes with Earl Grey tea. Sweet, fresh and with a touch of bergamot.
