BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 175°C · 347°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and prepare a flat baking tin of about 10×20 cm. Grease these up.
STEP 2
Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until it gets creamy. Add the flour, anise seeds, cloves and salt and beat together. Finally, the eggs and cheese pass through. All you got to do is mix this right.
STEP 3
Then divide your batter in the baking tin. Peel the apples, by the way, and remove the core. Cut into pieces and press evenly into the batter.
STEP 4
Slide the baking tin in the oven and bake your cake in about 30 minutes golden brown and cooked. Do the sateplikker trick to check if your cake is cooked in the middle.

With a few Dutch apples you baked this delicious apple cake within an hour. Delicious by the addition of anise and a pinch of cloves.
