BEFORE YOU START
Preheat to 175°C · 347°F
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Cover a square / rectangular baking block crosswise with aluminium foil and spray this with baking spray as well. Or grease with a butter brush.
STEP 2
Mix the flour, cocoa powder, sea salt and baking powder well in a bowl. Beat in a large bowl the sugar with butter for a few minutes with the mixer, then add the eggs together with the vanilla extract and dye and knock briefly so that everything is well mixed.
STEP 3
Then gently create the dry ingredients through the wet and rudder with policy until everything is mixed and you keep a cake batter. Scoop this in the baking tin, iron smooth and bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven. If you stick a satrep in the middle and it comes out dry, your cake is ready. Let the cake cool completely in the can.
STEP 4
Make the frosting by mixing the cream cheese with butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl for a few minutes. Divide the frosting over the brownies and smooth the top. Leave covered for half an hour in the fridge before cutting brownies. Use a large knife that warms you first under the tap. Cuts nice rectangular or square brownies. Don't get too big 'cause they're pretty powerful.
STEP 5
And are they good? Huge! I'm definitely gonna make them again and then I'm gonna make the frosting layer thinner and I'm gonna mix some lemon rasps for the freshness.
