BEFORE YOU START
Prepare Springform pan
METHOD
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the bottom of a springform tin with a sheet of baking paper and grease into the edges. Mine had a diameter of 24cm.
STEP 2
Melt the pure chocolate and butter au bain-marie or in the microwave. Then let cool. Chop the white chocolate into pieces, put on a plate and put in the freezer.
STEP 3
Beat the eggs with the bark sugar and vanilla extract well foamy with the (hand) mixer. This will take about 4 minutes. Fold the cooled chocolate mixture with a rubber spatula. Don't stir too hard, because you want to keep the lightness.
STEP 4
Strain the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder above and add the white chocolate pieces from the freezer. Fold all this with the spatula.
STEP 5
Make the batter in the spring form and bake for about 15 minutes in the oven. The heart may still be a little soft when you press it, but not liquid. Then let cool completely.
STEP 6
While the brownie is cooling, you melt the chocolate fudge au bain-marie. Let cool.
STEP 7
Remove the buckets of ice from the freezer and let them become soft to make it scoopable. Scoop the coffee ice cream in a bowl, stir and then scoop over the brownie bottom. Repeat this for vanilla ice cream. 'Drizzle' then the liquid chocolate fudge over the cake with a spoon that moves you casually back and forth.
STEP 8
Cover the springform tin and put it in the freezer to stiffen. Ideal for this, because you can make it a few days earlier! Oh, and another important tip from me: Put it flat (and not half oblique, as you put it in your overcrowded freezer), otherwise you'll have a slanted ice cream cake
STEP 9
Remove the ice cream cake from the freezer, cut it with a sharp knife that you held under the hot tap in thin tips and serve immediately.
STEP 10
Well, that was a party with this ice cream cake!
